Biscotti in Italian is the plural form of biscotto which applies to any type of cookie. The biscotti that Americans know is actually a rendition of one of Italy’s favorite and historic treats, Cantuccini which is a type of almond-flavored cookie traditionally served with Vin Santo, originating from the town of Prato, in Tuscany. Our gelato stays true to tradition with a rich, creamy base full of crunchy almond and chocolate flavored cookies. A flavor that will always be associated with Italiano!
